Native plants create a genetically diverse ecosystem and provide critical food sources and habitat for pollinators and other wildlife.
These are photos of some of the beautiful flowering plants that are found in our nature preserves. When visiting, take only pictures. Never remove any plant material from natural areas.
If you're interested in learning how you can use native plants in your own garden, check out our Native Plant Resources page, and the Bringing Nature Home Program, which recognizes individual gardeners, organizations, or corporations for outstanding use of native plants in the landscape.
If you would like to help us take care of these places, and also get an eco workout, you can join us for a volunteer workday and see native plants in action.
