Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon
Calling all Shirley Heinze Land Trust Volunteers!
We are hosting a luncheon to honor you for the hard work and meaningful projects you have completed in 2014. The event will take place at the Meadowbrook Nature Preserve lodge, which is nestled among 156 acres of gently rolling hills, dense woods, and open grasslands in Valparaiso. Anyone who has volunteered for the organization is invited to attend.
Date: Saturday, October 25, 2014
Time: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
The main course for the luncheon will be pulled pork sandwiches. The side dishes will be potluck style. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish or dessert.
Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org if you wish to attend and let us know what kind of dish you would like to bring.
After lunch, participants will take a short hike on the newest 80-acre addition to the preserve to highlight the upcoming reforestation efforts that are planned.
