Hoosier Riverwatch Training

You are invited to attend a free workshop where you will learn about water quality and gain hands-on experience and skills to become a volunteer for Hoosier Riverwatch. By participating in Hoosier Riverwatch, citizens of Indiana can become active stewards of our water resources through watershed education, water monitoring, and clean-up activities.

You don't need a lot of free time or be an expert to become a volunteer. Water monitoring methods are easy to learn and can be performed by volunteers of all ages. Any interested adult is welcome to attend. Upon completion of this training, you will be certified to borrow testing supplies from a Hoosier Riverwatch loaner site to monitor streams and rivers near you.
