Limited Time Matching Opportunity!
Build Shirley Heinze Land Trust’s Endowment Fund
with Porter County Community Foundation $1 for $1 Matching Grant Program
Your charitable dollars can go twice as far through a matching grant program designed to help build endowments for Porter County non-profit organizations.
Each $1 you contribute to Shirley Heinze Land Trust’s endowment fund at Porter County Community Foundation will be matched with an additional $1 from the foundation through March 31, 2018, up to $50,000.
Checks must be made payable to the Porter County Community Foundation, and should be directed to the “Shirley Heinze Environmental Land Trust Fund.” Electronic stock transfers must be made directly to the Porter County Community Foundation. Transfer instructions can be obtained by contacting Brenda Sheetz at (219)-465-0294 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Because the program lasts until March 31, 2018, you may structure your gift so that you can realize tax benefits for both 2017 and 2018. Donors who make gifts of $10,000 or more may establish a separate Named Designated Endowment Fund.
Other Avenues of Support
You can also support the work we and others do by choosing the blue Indiana Environmental License Plate. All of the funds received from plate renewals are used for projects that protect the land, waters, and wildlife of Indiana. Sales of the Environmental Plate have already saved more than 62,000 acres of Indiana’s natural heritage.
You can show your support and raise awareness for the work we do by purchasing logo-wear and gear at our CafePress shop. A portion of all sales supports the work of Shirley Heinze Land Trust.
