Shirley Heinze Land Trust celebrated its 10th Annual Spring Benefit this past Saturday at Sand Creek Country Club. This year's benefit highlighted four of Shirley Heinze and Indiana's most precious natural gems: Ambler Flatwoods, Little Calumet Wetlands, Meadowbrook, and Ivanhoe South.
As the evening began, guests were welcomed by the beautiful native plant arrangements done by Chuck Roth. After entering, guests were greeted by friends and conversation while passing underneath a lovely handmade arch. The benefit hosted an open seating arrangement, allowing for everyone to mingle and meet to discuss the amazing cause they had all gathered to celebrate.
The turn out was great, with over 300 people attending to support Shirley Heinze and its mission. While the food, decor, and setting were all wonderful, the most amazing aspect of all were the people who attended, including the sponsors.
