John Bacone is Director of the Division of Nature Preserves for the Indiana Department of Natural Resources.
Krista Bailey is the Director of Sustainability for Indiana University South Bend.
Marty Balogh is a former Shirley Heinze Land Trust board member and works for the American Bar Association.
Mitch Barloga is Transportation Planning Manager for Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission.
Robert Boklund is Vice President of LaPorte County Conservation Trust and a member of the Indiana Heritage Trust Project Committee.
Terry Bonace is a retired Environmental Protection Agency employee.
Lee Botts is a longtime environmentalist and activist.
Mark Bouman is the Associate Director of the Science Action Center of the Field Museum of Natural History. A former geography professor at Chicago State University, he has published extensively on the Calumet region. A resident of Chicago, he performs a lead role in the Calumet Heritage Partnership.
​Walt Breitinger is a leading local environmental activist, serving with many regional, state and national conservation organizations.
Kathy Dennis is a former officer and board member of Shirley Heinze Land Trust and directed the development activities of various not-for-profit organizations.
Angie Nelson Deuitch is a Public Affairs Manager.
Ryan Dvorak is a Member of the Indiana House of Representatives.
Jonathan Geels is a Landscape Architect at Troyer Group and President of the Indiana American Society of Landscape Architects
Tim Griffin is a former officer and board member of Shirley Heinze Land Trust. He is a retired educator.
Garry Harrington is Director for City of South Bend's Rum Village Nature Center.
Jennifer Kanine is the Director of the Department of Natural Resources for the Pokagon Band of the Potawatomi
Evie Kirkwood is Director of St. Joseph County Parks.
Ricky Klee is an instructor of Theology at Notre Dame.
Chris Kline Chris Kline recently left his management position at Cardno JF New in order to lead the environmental program of Culver Academy in Marshall County.
Paul Kohlhoff is a Professor at Valparaiso University School of Law and a past Shirley Heinze Land Trust Executive Director.
Ralph Lerner is a retired professor. He is Benjamin Franklin Professor Emeritus in the College of the University of Chicago and Professor Emeritus on the Committee of Social Thought.    
Kathy Luther is Director of Environmental Programs for the Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (NIRPC). She serves on various environmental boards and committees in the region and regularly contributes articles on environmental topics to the Northwest Indiana Times. 
Sergio Mendoza serves as the City Planner for the City of Hobart. He previously served as the Resources Planner for the Indiana Coastal Management Program. He is the author of Images of America: Hobart. 
Leigh Morris is Chairman of the Northwest Indiana Regional Development Authority and former Mayor of LaPorte.
Scott Namestnik is a botanist and owner of Orbis Environmental Consulting.
Chuck Nelson is the Executive Director of the Judd Leighton Foundation.
Ed Noonan is an architect and chairman of Chicago Associates Planners and Architects.
Rachel Novick is the Director of Minor in Sustainability at Notre Dame.
Charles Oberlie is the former Mayor of Michigan City.
John Pinter is the Principal at Pinter Consulting.
Dan Plath is Chief of Natural Resources for the Indiana Dunes National Lakeshore.
Greg Quartucci is Senior Ecologist and Office Manager for Cardno.
Mark Reshkin is Professor Emeritus in the Department of Geosciences at Indiana University Northwest. 
Margie Riemenschneider is a retired school teacher and conservationist. She her husband Vic have been active in the South Bend – Elkhart and Indiana Audubon Societies. 
Laurel Ross is a past director of the Illinois Nature Conservancy and former co-chair of Chicago Wilderness. She recently retired from the Field Museum of Natural History, where she served as its Urban Conservation Director. 
Jean Rudd is a consultant on various aspects of management and planning for non-profit organizations and former President of the Woods Fund of Chicago.
Steve Sass is Chapter Leader for Northern Indiana’s Native Plant & Wildflower Society (INPAWS).
Rachel Saxon is the President & Senior Trust Officer at Horizon Trust & Investment Management. She is a past President of Shirley Heinze Land Trust.
Ken Schoon is a Professor Emeritus of science education at Indiana University Northwest.
Angela Smith is the Deputy Director for the St. Joseph County Area Plan Commission.
Tim Stoner is owner of Woody View Farms.
Ray Szarmach is a practicing attorney in Lake County.
Dr. Nicholas Timm is an emergency medicine physician in New Carlisle, Indiana.

Ronald Trigg is a retired United States Foreign Service Officer and a past Executive Director of Shirley Heinze Land Trust.
