This site protects approximately 30 acres of dune-and-swale topography that features black oak savanna and interdunal wetland habitats. The site is managed to restore these natural communities and improve habitat for the federally endangered Karner Blue Butterfly, which occupies several other nearby natural areas. This site is home to many plant species such as Wild Lupine, Puccoon and Wild Columbine.
